Solutions Architect, Delivery Lead – HIPAA, AWS, Healthcare EDI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +7 more countries.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete technical solution by converting product requirements into architecture, tasks, and acceptance criteria.

• Develop the HIPAA-compliant AWS infrastructure and the strategy for EDI 270/271 integration.

• Personally tackle the most challenging technical aspects of the project.

• Plan the build sequence for the infrastructure foundation, coverage monitoring, and intake and consent processes.

• Conduct code reviews and assist the engineering team with foundational and infrastructure tasks.

• Create technical documentation using platforms such as Notion, Google Docs, and ticketing systems like Linear, Jira, or ClickUp.

• Collaborate directly with client-side technical stakeholders to identify and communicate scope and risk issues early on.

• Mentor and assist two engineers by taking ownership of hands-on delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in senior software architecture coupled with practical leadership in delivering a real production build.

• Practical experience in a HIPAA-compliant AWS environment, including VPC, IAM, KMS, ECS/Fargate, SQS, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch, and CI/CD.

• Proven ability to break down complex tasks into tickets/specifications and lead 2–3 engineers to successful completion.

• A genuinely hands-on approach; this is not a purely oversight role.

• Experience managing PHI / healthcare data.

• Comfortable interacting with clients and engaging directly with client-side technical stakeholders.

• Prior experience with healthcare EDI / X12, including ANSI 270/271 and 837/835, as well as clearinghouse integrations is a plus.

• Exposure to behavioral health or revenue cycle domains is preferred but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with Playwright / browser automation is advantageous.

• Previous experience as a fractional consulting delivery lead is an advantage.
