Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Identify business requirements, domains, and capabilities, converting them into technical specifications and solutions.

• Establish solution architecture that includes architectural patterns, components, integrations, and communication pathways.

• Create solutions with a focus on performance, scalability, resilience, availability, and security.

• Assess and choose technologies based on requirements, effects, costs, and their compatibility with the current environment.

• Examine the impact of the solution on applications, data, security, and infrastructure.

• Document architectures, workflows, technical decisions, and potential areas for future development.

• Set metrics, monitoring, observability, and alert systems for solution tracking.

• Recognize technical risks and assist in outlining mitigation strategies.

• Offer technical guidance to teams during the solution definition and implementation phases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in solution architecture projects, systems integration, and process enhancement.

• Skilled in analyzing business, functional, and non-functional requirements.

• In-depth knowledge of microservices, APIs, messaging, and integration methodologies.

• Familiarity with Java, .NET, Python, Node.js, and cloud-based technologies.

• Understanding of information security principles, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.

• Proficient in monitoring, observability, and version control for code.

• Knowledgeable in solution modeling and estimating infrastructure and licensing expenses.

• Experience in agile development settings.

• Possess a systems-level viewpoint and strong analytical skills.

• Capability to convert business needs into technical solutions.

• Strong communication and negotiation abilities with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Aptitude for making data-driven technical decisions considering impacts and constraints.

• Organized and clear approach in solution documentation.

• Demonstrated technical leadership.

• Preferred: experience with Transition Architecture.

• Preferred: experience in modernizing and migrating systems to contemporary architectures.

• Preferred: capacity to evaluate the risks, impacts, benefits, and limitations of technology choices.
