Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate the current manufacturing processes of customers and propose as well as design safe, efficient, and fully automated solutions.

• Simulate robotic cells to validate reachability, identify bottlenecks, and demonstrate feasibility.

• Design the placement of cells, their footprint, and material flow based on customer data.

• Calculate cycle times, Takt time, and guaranteed throughput using production data.

• Own the technical concepts behind proposals and develop winning concepts into comprehensive application designs.

• Present designs, layouts, and throughput scenarios to customers while integrating their feedback.

• Serve as the technical representative for Sunrise Robotics during customer interactions.

• Provide finalized process maps, simulations, and layouts to the internal Deployment team.

• Collect raw data, floor plans, and production requirements from customer engineering teams.

• Incorporate insights from the field into product development direction.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years in automation engineering, robotics integration, or solutions design for manufacturing.

• Strong expertise in robotic simulation software, such as Process Simulate, Visual Components, or similar applications.

• Extensive CAD experience, including SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools, for layout and 3D data management.

• Proven skills in cycle-time calculation, capacity planning, and manufacturing data analysis.

• Comprehensive understanding of material flow, lean manufacturing principles, and process sequencing.

• Effective communication skills, including the ability to present technical concepts and layouts directly to customers.

• Residency in a CET +/- 3 time zone.

• Ability to travel within the Schengen area.

• Knowledge of robotic safety standards, such as EN ISO 10218.

• Familiarity with various manufacturing data formats and key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Understanding of gripping technologies, feeding systems, and conveyor integration.

• Experience in diverse manufacturing environments and production processes.

• Familiarity with Isaac Sim.
