Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Assist customers and users in designing and constructing reliable, scalable systems utilizing MongoDB’s data platform.

• Create scalable and high-performance applications, systems, and infrastructure for substantial software projects using MongoDB.

• Provide guidance to customers on architectural patterns and optimization tactics while conveying business value to stakeholders.

• Collaborate with sales teams on account strategy, opportunity prioritization and qualification, pipeline development, technical exploration, demonstrations, proofs of value, presentations, sizing, and documentation.

• Drive demand through technical initiatives, industry trade exhibitions, and account-based marketing events.

• Cultivate customer relationships, develop champions, and ensure customer success and satisfaction.

• Innovate and enhance MongoDB solutions and processes by communicating field feedback to the product team.

• Mentor fellow Solutions Consulting team members.

• Participate in continuous product and industry training and professional growth.

• Assist customers with MongoDB products, cloud technologies, microservices, DevOps, security, and generative AI architectures.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of relevant industry experience, with at least 2 years in a customer-facing position.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience with modern scripting languages like Python, Node.js, or SQL, and/or widely-used programming languages such as C/C++, Java, or C# in a professional setting.

• Proven experience in implementing scalable and highly available distributed systems both in cloud environments and on-premises.

• Demonstrated capability to assess complex application architectures with customers and offer technology advice.

• Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to collaborate with a cross-functional sales team throughout the entire deal cycle.

• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

• Proficiency in both French and English is mandatory.

• Required security clearance is mentioned as a placeholder, with no specific clearance detailed.

• Experience with major cloud service providers, technical pre-sales, database programming, data models, data engineering, or AI/ML projects is considered additional experience.

• Familiarity with MEDDPICC or Command of the Message is regarded as additional experience.
