Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and structure scalable, highly available solutions utilizing multi-tier and multi-platform strategies.

• Integrate event-driven patterns and message queues to facilitate real-time data flows.

• Implement SOLID principles and cloud-native design patterns to create modular, maintainable, and extensible architectures.

• Act as a technical leader and architectural authority throughout the complete solution lifecycle.

• Convert business requirements into technical guidance and assist engineering teams in their delivery.

• Collaborate with security, risk management, cloud engineering, and compliance stakeholders to ensure solutions align with governance controls, encryption standards, operational resilience requirements, and audit preparedness.

• Generate Use Case, Sequence, and Solution Architecture diagrams.

• Develop governance templates that encompass security controls, threat models, and data flows.

• Work with enterprise architects and security teams to validate designs against organizational standards.

• Provide technical mentorship and support to engineering teams.

• Contribute to the establishment of architectural standards, design patterns, and technical best practices.

• Ensure security, compliance, and operational resilience throughout the architecture lifecycle.

• Quickly adapt to new engagements and deliver architectural value with minimal oversight.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise solution architecture.

• Demonstrated history of designing scalable, secure, cloud-native solutions employing SOLID principles and the Well-Architected Framework.

• Proficient in event-driven architecture, multi-tier/multi-platform design, and enterprise governance standards, including security controls, threat models, and data flows.

• Proven experience in architecting enterprise solutions within complex, distributed, multi-platform environments.

• Strong understanding of event-driven architecture, cloud-native design patterns, and SOLID engineering principles.

• Proven ability to produce governance-aligned architecture documentation, including Use Case, Sequence, and Solution Architecture diagrams.

• Extensive expertise in multi-tier and multi-platform solution design with a focus on scalability, security, and high availability.

• Hands-on experience with enterprise architecture frameworks such as the Well-Architected Framework.

• Experience in collaborating with security, risk management, cloud engineering, and compliance teams to adhere to governance and audit standards.

• Familiarity with the entire solution delivery lifecycle, from requirements gathering to production.

• Bachelor's degree.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Ability to challenge assumptions, manage competing priorities, and achieve technical consensus.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

• Successful completion of a background investigation for U.S. employment.
