Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Lead the full-stack architecture and assess technical feasibility for composable, edge-rendered applications that integrate headless CMS platforms, third-party DAMs, and distributed cloud runtimes.

• Design and implement high-performance API mesh architectures and streaming orchestration pipelines utilizing SSE/WebSockets.

• Connect client-side interfaces with backend microservices, specialized LLM tools, and real-time data streams.

• Manage backend and edge execution performance, which includes caching, high availability, disaster recovery, token/payload chunking, and state management for multi-turn AI/data workflows.

• Supervise monorepo structures, specification-driven development, federated services, and automated CI/CD pipelines equipped with guardrails and telemetry.

• Assist in technical audits and lead the Architectural Decision Record process.

• Convert intricate systemic concepts into Technical Design Documents and execution roadmaps for engineering teams.

• Create a scalable, composable platform blueprint that connects enterprise frontends with intelligent backend services.

• Enhance event-driven, agentic workflow orchestration to improve time-to-first-token and response latency.

• Empower engineering teams through ADRs, robust specification-driven monorepo structures, and proactive roadmap transitions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in architecting complex, data-intensive systems, composable headless setups (e.g., Contentstack, Optimizely, Contentful), and distributed microservices.

• Active knowledge of building or integrating modern AI tools, vector networks, or LLM orchestration layers.

• Practical expertise in cloud-native platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), edge functions, serverless runtimes, GraphQL/REST API orchestration, and vector/relational databases.

• Profound understanding of asynchronous event loops, message queues (Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ), stateful routing, and contemporary frontend hosting environments (Vercel, Next.js, or modern cloud primitives).

• Extensive experience with monorepo architectures, specification-driven development, CI/CD automation, and modern branching/release engineering.

• Ability to navigate ambiguous requirements, prototype innovative architectural solutions, and articulate complex technical trade-offs to executives and engineers.

• If the chosen candidate possesses a degree in Engineering or a related field, they must provide their professional license.
