Solution Engineer – ValueOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +30 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct value alignment with key strategic customers.

• Establish relationships throughout customers’ or partners’ IT and business divisions.

• Comprehend, develop, document, and disseminate knowledge of portfolio management, agile transformation, challenges, and the potential impacts of upcoming projects.

• Serve as a trusted resource during the initial stages of the customer decision-making process.

• Identify and spearhead adoption initiatives with major customers.

• Keep track of account opportunities, engagement, and adoption data.

• Oversee and guide team members within designated accounts.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of the Agile Operations Division’s capabilities and products throughout the portfolio.

• Retain a functional and technical grasp of the ValueOps domain.

• Stay informed about third-party solutions and tools relevant to the domain.

• Conduct demonstrations and proof of value for PPM and Agile solutions.

• Present solution and adoption roadmaps to clients.

• Collaborate with Sales, R&D, Services, and Management on solution technology, architecture, and roadmap alignment.

• Work together with other domain members in the territory to enhance account understanding and knowledge sharing.

• Participate in defining and executing account marketing initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 17+ years of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree with 15+ years of related experience.

• Strong expertise in Project & Portfolio Management, FinOps, Infrastructure Portfolio Management, and Agile management solutions such as Clarity, Planview, Jira, ServiceNow, Apptio, and others.

• Understanding of Agile frameworks, including SAFe.

• Capability to comprehend customer business challenges and effectively articulate software solutions.

• Proficiency in engaging with business users to discuss and document business requirements and translate them into functional applications.

• Extensive knowledge of business and IT management.

• Excellent presentation skills, including the ability to demonstrate software effectively.

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Eagerness to understand customers' motivations.

• Skills necessary to transition customer relationships into partnerships.
