This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +1 more state.
• Create comprehensive, high-level technical solutions encompassing hardware, software, licensing, and professional services.
• Collect, assess, and document the business and technical requirements of customers.
• Engineer end-to-end network and security solutions from initial concept through implementation and ongoing support.
• Lead technical discovery workshops and facilitate brainstorming sessions with customers and internal teams.
• Produce customer-facing presentations, proposals, and detailed solution documentation.
• Conduct technical presentations, architecture evaluations, and product showcases.
• Develop hardware configurations and bills of materials (BoMs).
• Generate statements of work (SoWs) and pricing for professional services utilizing Presidio tools and methodologies.
• Manage workload priorities, set direction, and execute effectively within a collaborative team framework.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and extended sales teams to nurture customer relationships, uncover opportunities, and assist in the sales process.
• Enhance and broaden technical knowledge, industry insights, and professional certifications.
• Provide guidance to customers on LAN/WAN, data center switching, security, and wireless technologies.
• Develop solutions that integrate hardware, software, licensing, and engineering services.
• Bachelor’s degree, relevant professional experience, and/or applicable military background.
• A minimum of seven years of experience showcasing significant expertise in enterprise networking and security solutions.
• One or more relevant industry certifications, such as Cisco CCDP, CCNP, or CCIE.
• Proven capability to deploy, administer, configure, integrate, or provide support for complex technology solutions.
• Direct experience collaborating with customers and sales teams to convert business requirements into practical, scalable technical solutions.
• Strong proficiency in written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication.
• Advanced knowledge in one or more key technical areas, including routing and switching, firewalls, VPNs, network security, AI-driven network operations, observability, data center networking, SASE, SD-WAN, cloud networking, enterprise wireless, or security architecture.
• Understanding of network design methodologies, IP routing, switching, router and switch sizing, advanced network architecture, branch/campus/distributed-site design, resiliency, scalability, security, and performance.
• Experience in a VAR, consulting, systems integration, or professional services environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience as a consultant, network architect, systems engineer, or technical presales professional is highly desirable.
