This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +1 more state.
β’ Create comprehensive, end-to-end technical solutions that include hardware, software, licensing, and professional services.
β’ Collect, analyze, and document the business and technical requirements of customers.
β’ Design extensive, full-lifecycle network and security solutions from the initial concept through to implementation and ongoing support.
β’ Facilitate technical discovery sessions and lead whiteboard discussions with customers and internal stakeholders.
β’ Generate customer-facing presentations, proposals, and solution documentation.
β’ Conduct technical presentations, architecture reviews, and product demonstrations.
β’ Produce accurate hardware configurations and bills of materials (BoMs).
β’ Draft statements of work (SoWs) and establish professional services pricing using Presidio tools and processes.
β’ Independently manage workload priorities, set direction, and execute tasks effectively within a collaborative team setting.
β’ Collaborate with Account Executives and extended sales teams to cultivate customer relationships, identify opportunities, and support the overall sales process.
β’ Continuously enhance and broaden technical expertise, industry knowledge, and relevant professional certifications.
β’ Act as a trusted technical advisor, translating complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes for both technical and non-technical audiences.
β’ Bachelor's degree, equivalent professional experience, and/or relevant military experience.
β’ A minimum of seven years of experience showcasing significant expertise in enterprise networking and security solutions.
β’ One or more relevant industry certifications, such as Cisco CCDP, CCNP, or CCIE.
β’ Proven ability to apply technical and design expertise through deployment, administration, configuration, integration, or support of complex technology solutions.
β’ Experience collaborating directly with customers and sales teams to convert business requirements into practical, scalable technical solutions.
β’ Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
β’ Expert-level knowledge and experience in one or more preferred technical areas, including complex routing and switching, next-generation firewalls, VPNs, network security platforms, AI-driven network operations and automation, observability, application performance monitoring, data center networking, Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, SASE, SD-WAN, cloud-based networking, enterprise wireless, 802.11 technologies, and network security architecture.
β’ Understanding of industry-standard network design methodologies and architectural principles.
β’ Knowledge of IP routing, switching, router and switch sizing, advanced network design and architecture, branch/campus/distributed-site network design, and considerations for network resiliency, scalability, security, and performance.
β’ Experience as a consultant, network architect, systems engineer, or technical presales professional is highly desirable.
β’ Background in a value-added reseller, consulting, systems integration, or professional services environment is preferred but not mandatory.
