Solution Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate directly with business stakeholders and non-technical executives to identify issues and desired outcomes.

• Translate vague business requirements into clear technical requirements and solution designs.

• Identify workflows, constraints, integrations, and success criteria.

• Quickly develop functional prototypes and business applications utilizing modern development tools, low-code/no-code platforms, and AI-assisted methods.

• Assess and suggest SaaS products, custom development, and integration options.

• Provide functional solutions that emphasize speed-to-outcome and business value.

• Recognize discrepancies between rapidly developed applications and production-grade systems.

• Establish production-readiness criteria that encompass scalability, security, reliability, maintainability, testing, and monitoring.

• Work in tandem with Full Stack Engineering teams to transition prototypes into production-ready solutions.

• Propel projects forward despite ambiguity, evolving requirements, or technical challenges.

• Exhibit ownership and resourcefulness in your approach.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of overall experience.

• At least 4 years of experience in Solution Engineering, Software Engineering, Technical Consulting, Product Engineering, or a similar field.

• Practical experience with AI-driven software engineering tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, OpenAI, or equivalent.

• Familiarity with modern CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with automated testing frameworks.

• Knowledge of agentic AI-driven quality assurance practices.

• Proven history of designing, building, and scaling complex cloud-native enterprise applications.

• Experience with distributed, microservices-based architectures.

• In-depth expertise in Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Capability to architect and deploy solutions in multi-cloud environments.

• Strong full-stack engineering skills across frontend, backend, data, integrations, and cloud infrastructure.

• Experience in making build-versus-buy decisions and integrating third-party platforms and APIs.

• Ability to leverage AI technologies to speed up software delivery while ensuring enterprise-grade security, reliability, and scalability.

• Proficient in gathering requirements from non-technical stakeholders and converting them into technical designs.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Competence in evaluating technical trade-offs and providing practical solution recommendations.

• Strong grasp of software architecture fundamentals and production system needs.

• Experience in identifying and addressing gaps between prototype or vibe-coded applications and production systems.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to achieve results under uncertainty.
