Solution Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Communicate the vision and capabilities of Snowflake technology to both executives and technical teams, emphasizing its role as a catalyst for swift AI innovation.

• Engage directly with potential clients to showcase the value of Snowflake throughout the sales process, from initial interest to delivering insights that drive business results.

• Maintain an extensive understanding of Analytics, Generative AI, LLMs, and competing technologies.

• Position Snowflake as the streamlined solution for enterprise Analytics and AI.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to relay customer data platform and activation requirements, enhancing the platform.

• Partner with sales teams and channel partners to identify customer needs, navigate the sales process, provide value-driven demonstrations, discuss product alignment, and assist in enterprise Proofs of Concept.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated success in positioning data solutions that facilitate swift adoption of Analytics and AI, providing customers with a clear pathway from raw data to actionable analytics, AI Agents, and machine learning models.

• Practical experience with one or more of the following: Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Cloudera, BigQuery, Spark, Trino, Cassandra, Hive, among others.

• Exceptional presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences, adept at translating complex data concepts into tangible business value.

• Extensive experience with large-scale database/data warehouse technologies, ETL processes, and contemporary AI/ML frameworks.

• Proficient in SQL and SQL analytics; familiarity with Python or R for data science is an advantage.

• Ability to align customer business challenges with Snowflake's Analytics, AI, and Data Cloud solutions.

• A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
