Solution Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Deliver presentations on Snowflake technology and its vision to both executives and technical stakeholders, emphasizing Snowflake as a catalyst for swift AI innovation.

• Engage directly with potential clients throughout the sales process to showcase the value of Snowflake and facilitate positive business results.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Analytics, Generative AI, LLMs, and competing technologies.

• Establish Snowflake as a straightforward solution for businesses seeking to adopt enterprise-level Analytics and AI.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to share insights regarding customer data platforms and activation strategies.

• Partner with sales teams and channel partners to identify customer requirements and effectively navigate successful sales cycles.

• Deliver value-driven demonstrations, conduct product-fit discussions, and assist with enterprise Proofs of Concept.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated success in positioning data solutions that facilitate rapid Analytics and AI adoption, providing customers with a clear pathway from raw data to actionable analytics, AI agents, and machine learning models.

• Practical experience with one or more of the following: Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Cloudera, BigQuery, Spark, Trino, Cassandra, Hive, or other open-source analytics projects.

• Excellent presentation skills for both technical and executive audiences, capable of translating complex data concepts into tangible business value.

• Extensive experience with large-scale database/data warehouse technologies, ETL processes, and contemporary AI/ML frameworks.

• Hands-on proficiency in SQL and SQL analytics.

• A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.

• Experience with Python or R for data science is considered a plus.
