This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the front end of the growth pipeline for the healthcare payer/provider segment of the company.

• Identify opportunities for the company to expand into new market segments and enhance capabilities.

• Validate the size and structure of opportunities and mitigate investment risks prior to development.

• Manage each opportunity through a five-stage process: investigate, frame, size, develop the business case, and validate.

• Conduct structured opportunity assessments across prioritized innovation areas.

• Maintain a dynamic, ranked pipeline with clearly articulated criteria for advancement or termination.

• Construct TAM/SAM/SOM models for each segment using sourced and verified assumptions.

• Prepare business requirements and investment proposals for executive consideration.

• Design and facilitate in-market validation with prospects, advisors, vendors, and other external stakeholders.

• Manage competitive intelligence as a continuously updated, query-able system.

• Advise on whether to build, partner, or acquire, weighing cost, speed, and risk factors.

• Present narratives suitable for board and CEO-level discussions.

• Transition approved opportunities to another Solutions team member with a business case and specifications ready for development.

• Remain engaged throughout the transition process.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years' experience in healthcare payer/provider strategy, corporate development, or product strategy within a health plan, provider organization, healthcare tech/SaaS company, healthcare consulting firm, or growth equity/private equity fund focused on healthcare; direct experience in VBC/risk adjustment/quality domain is mandatory.

• Hands-on experience with risk-bearing provider organizations or health systems, either from the vendor perspective (servicing them) or the customer perspective (working within one).

• Proven success in sizing new markets or capabilities and securing investment approval, beyond just conducting analysis.

• Proficient in HCC/RAF, HEDIS/Stars, and ACO economics (MSSP/ACO REACH/LEAD), as well as payer-provider data workflows.

• Comfortable working with incomplete data under scrutiny from executives.

• Skilled at engaging directly with external stakeholders to gather market insights, rather than merely synthesizing existing data.

• Strong collaborator across functions, adept at partnering with teams to advance strategic initiatives.

• Experience in a PE-backed or high-growth SaaS environment is highly desirable.

• Builds strong partnerships to achieve common goals, actively engaging with others and valuing diverse perspectives.

• Collaborates effectively across teams, earning trust and credit for successes.
