Solution Architect – TMS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the design, optimization, and implementation of Blue Yonder Transportation Management software solutions for clients.

• Utilize domain expertise to configure and deliver Blue Yonder solutions that align with customer needs and business processes.

• Oversee solution design, including establishing clear constructs and validating tasks and timelines.

• Facilitate and/or direct system integration, user acceptance testing, and deployment phases.

• Manage project scope, timelines, and requirements to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

• Evaluate business needs beyond the standard solution or scope, addressing integration complexity, architectural constraints, and product roadmaps.

• Identify and promote incremental revenue opportunities with existing customers and projects.

• Communicate business cases to PMG and PD regarding specific customer functionality needs and enhancements.

• Support the support services group with support cases when not engaged in implementation projects.

• Act as the primary functional consultant and liaison among customer contacts, Project Managers, Technical Consultants, and third-party consultants.

• Design solutions utilizing Blue Yonder Transportation Management products for Fortune 500 clients throughout the Americas region.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with Blue Yonder’s Transportation Management Systems is preferred.

• Experience in solutions consulting and implementation with other leading Transportation Management Solutions may also be considered.

• Proven track record in a customer-facing role where you led requirement gathering, developed software solutions, and influenced stakeholders.

• Current or previous experience in a management consulting organization or Supply Chain Center is preferred.

• Strong analytical skills in business analysis.

• Knowledge and application of statistical algorithms.

• Understanding of inventory optimization concepts.

• Familiarity with tactical planning across the overall supply chain is required.

• Capable of preparing and delivering presentations for various audience levels, including users, management, and executives.

• Basic Excel skills, including data cleansing and pivot tables.

• Ability to read and execute simple SQL queries is preferred.

• Must qualify for SF85P public trust security clearance, depending on customer project assignment.

• Must pass a background check and drug test, including fingerprints and a photocopy of a US passport or birth certificate, depending on customer project assignment.

• An advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or Operations Research is preferred.

• A Bachelor’s degree along with relevant industry experience may be accepted in place of an advanced degree.

• Basic understanding of APIs-SOAP/REST, XML, and JSON.

• Willingness to learn and understand simple SQL.

• Experience in report writing and validation.

• Willingness to travel within the US 50%–75% of the time.
