Solution Architect – Senior Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Act as a reliable advisor to clients.

• Offer architectural leadership in large and intricate initiatives.

• Collaborate with executive and delivery stakeholders to jointly create and implement solution visions.

• Design and implement scalable, mission-aligned solutions for Defense & National Security clients.

• Shape, define, and align complex federal customer engagements throughout presales and delivery.

• Steer architectural strategy from the initial solutioning phase to execution.

• Uphold architectural integrity and ensure executive alignment.

• Identify and spearhead internal strategic initiatives to enhance the consulting practice.

• Contribute to the community's knowledge base and expertise.

• Guide clients and colleagues in the adoption of emerging technologies that enhance business value.

• Educate on complex concepts and provide prescriptive advice across various levels within client organizations.

• Recognize and proactively manage risks until complete resolution.

• Manage customer expectations and negotiate intricate solutions with clients and third-party partners.

• Review and refine project/program direction, methodologies, and key deliverables.

• Drive program vision and articulate strategies for programs/projects that leverage Salesforce platform technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of relevant experience in enterprise architecture or consulting on the Salesforce Platform throughout its entire lifecycle.

• Expertise in Salesforce configuration and architectural strategy.

• Experience in leading discovery sessions, defining business requirements, writing user stories, and crafting detailed system and functional designs.

• Proficient in documenting business processes and creating wireframes for system designs using process flow diagram tools, UML, sequence diagrams, etc.

• Strong presentation capabilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to create materials suitable for diverse audiences.

• Capacity to connect with individuals in various roles.

• Resourceful and innovative in problem-solving.

• Degree or equivalent relevant experience is mandatory.

• Must be based in the Metro DC area.

• Possess an active U.S. Government security clearance: Secret, TS, TS/SCI, or TS/SCI with Poly.

• Hold multiple Salesforce Core Architecture certifications.

• Experience with digital transformation initiatives in the public sector.

• Practical experience with Public Sector Solutions (Agentforce Public Sector).

• Ability to effectively communicate and persuade customers about best practices at various organizational levels.

• Background in application design and development.

• U.S. citizenship (either by birth or naturalization) is required.

• Must not have dual citizenship.

• Required to complete a U.S. federal government Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) for a Moderate Public Trust position.

• Must obtain and maintain the specific required U.S. Government security clearance.

• Travel may be required based on client needs.
