This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the technical strategy for customer accounts throughout the entire customer lifecycle.

• Cultivate customer relationships, comprehend their objectives and challenges, and serve as a trusted technical advisor.

• Provide guidance to Sales teams on the technical components of the sales process.

• Recognize and address technical obstacles in the sales process.

• Create proposals and respond to RFPs with technical insights and solution suggestions.

• Design solutions that align with the business goals of customers.

• Facilitate technical sales discussions and showcase Red Hat solutions.

• Develop, oversee, and implement Customer Success Plans.

• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Adoption, Consulting, Engineering, Product Management, and Support teams.

• Impact account strategies to boost pipeline and secure opportunities.

• Collaborate with Account Executives on account strategy and orchestrate extended sales teams.

• Take ownership of the technical success for sales opportunities.

• Offer continuous technical support and advice to customers.

• Conduct regular customer check-ins to evaluate satisfaction and pinpoint expansion or upselling opportunities.

• Relay customer feedback, requirements, and technical needs to internal Red Hat teams.

• Suggest product improvements based on customer feedback.


⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in solution architecture, consultative selling, and comprehensive sales process management (both pre- and post-sales).

• Foundational understanding of Red Hat’s product offerings.

• Advanced expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ansible, OpenShift, cloud technologies, and DevOps practices.

• Exceptional communication and executive presentation abilities.

• Demonstrated experience in customer success, technical account planning, account management, or similar positions.

• Strong skills in cross-functional collaboration and relationship building.

• Excellent discovery, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.

• Ability to adapt and work flexibly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Strong project management capabilities.

• Understanding of the business implications of sales engagement and ability to quickly acquire expert knowledge of the customer’s business.

• Willingness to travel as necessary.

• Preferred locations include Chicago, IL and surrounding areas.
