Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design current (As-Is), future (To-Be), and target architectures aligned with technological strategy.

• Establish standards, principles, and guidelines for corporate solutions architecture.

• Create solutions that consider scalability, availability, security, resilience, performance, observability, maintainability, and costs.

• Evaluate technological alternatives and conduct comparative analyses to support decision-making.

• Define components, interfaces, dependencies, and integrations between systems.

• Conduct architecture reviews and validate compliance with technical standards.

• Manage technological risks, technical debt, and architectural decisions.

• Collaborate with business, development, infrastructure, security, cloud, and DevOps teams.

• Analyze monolithic architectures and define strategies for technological modernization.

• Identify functional domains and opportunities for decoupling applications.

• Define bounded contexts and strategies based on Domain-Driven Design (DDD).

• Design incremental migration processes towards microservices architectures.

• Establish coexistence mechanisms between legacy systems and new services.

• Implement risk mitigation strategies associated with technological transformation processes.

• Define integration architectures based on events, APIs, and synchronous and asynchronous communications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience as a Solutions Architect.

• Experience in designing enterprise architectures and digital transformation.

• Knowledge of designing As-Is, To-Be, and Target Architecture.

• Experience in modernizing applications and legacy systems.

• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).

• Experience defining bounded contexts.

• Experience with microservices architectures.

• Knowledge of REST APIs.

• Experience with API Gateway.

• Experience in event-driven architectures (Event-Driven Architecture).

• Knowledge of synchronous and asynchronous communication between services.

• Experience in integrating distributed systems.

• Knowledge of Service-to-Service Communication.

• Experience in handling distributed transactions.

• Familiarity with patterns such as Idempotency, Circuit Breaker, Retry, Timeout, and Bulkhead.

• Experience in Service Discovery.

• Ability to evaluate and select the most suitable architecture based on business needs.

• Experience in managing technological risks and technical debt.

• Knowledge of observability, security, availability, and resilience of platforms.

• Differential: experience applying the Strangler Fig Pattern.

• Differential: experience in large-scale digital transformation programs.

• Differential: knowledge of cloud and cloud-native architectures.

• Differential: experience in DevOps and deployment automation.

• Differential: knowledge of enterprise architecture governance.

• Differential: experience in migration processes and coexistence between legacy systems and modern platforms.
