Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Lead the assessment of current-state discovery and architecture across both technology and business domains.

• Conduct current-state architecture assessments and discovery in complex or acquired environments.

• Perform rapid inventory and mapping of assets including applications, infrastructure, integrations, and data flows.

• Develop and maintain application portfolio maps, integration diagrams, and infrastructure views.

• Align technology assets to business outcomes by mapping data flows, business processes, and business capabilities.

• Analyze cost components related to applications and platforms to aid in rationalization and prioritization decisions.

• Assess CI/CD maturity and relevant delivery pipelines.

• Define and document integration architecture patterns and constraints for future-state planning.

• Utilize EA tools like LeanIX to model, analyze, and communicate findings to both technical and executive stakeholders.

• Collaborate with program, engineering, and business teams to translate discovery results into integration roadmaps and execution plans.

• Engage in a 30-minute virtual business alignment call.

• If necessary, complete a client interview and project-specific technical assessment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in enterprise architecture with a focus on hands-on current-state discovery and assessment.

• Demonstrated proficiency with EA tools, preferably LeanIX or a comparable alternative.

• Experience in mapping application portfolios.

• Familiarity with mapping infrastructure and hosting environments.

• Experience in mapping system integrations and interfaces.

• Proficiency in mapping data flows and dependencies.

• Experience in mapping business processes and capabilities.

• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments, producing clear and decision-ready artifacts.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex architectures.

• Experience in M&A or large-scale integration projects.

• Background in supporting application rationalization or tenant consolidation initiatives.

• Knowledge of DevOps / CI-CD maturity assessments.

• Availability to work within CEST ±3 hours.

• Project-based B2B contract engagement for 6 months with automatic renewal.
