This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt, +4 more countries.
• Collaborate with Finance and Revenue Operations to analyze processes, systems, reporting needs, approval workflows, and operational challenges.
• Establish measurable benchmarks for current processes prior to implementing automation.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and prioritize opportunities based on their impact, complexity, data accessibility, and associated risks.
• Differentiate between quick-win automation opportunities and longer-term systems projects.
• Create a repeatable framework for identifying, assessing, and scaling future AI automation prospects.
• Redesign and develop AI-driven workflows, agents, integrations, and internal applications.
• Construct workflows that include human verification and oversight.
• Develop solutions encompassing financial reporting, internal systems, administrative tasks, and Finance and Revenue Operations workflows.
• Investigate natural-language interfaces for reliable access to business and financial data.
• Integrate finance systems, planning tools, data platforms, and business applications.
• Develop and maintain integrations utilizing APIs, webhooks, and structured data flows.
• Assist in AI-supported workflows across accounting, planning, invoice capture, payment processing, and data platforms.
• Facilitate automation in accounts receivable, credit control, and cash collection communications.
• Design human-in-the-loop approvals, role-based access, data validation, exception management, and audit trails.
• Ensure the secure handling of sensitive business information and establish clear operational accountability.
• Measure time saved, manual tasks eliminated, adoption rates, and the impact of automation against pre-defined benchmarks.
• Document architectural designs, workflow logic, controls, and operational procedures.
• Develop prioritized plans for upcoming automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with Finance, Revenue Operations, Data, and Engineering teams.
• Independently manage projects from discovery through to implementation and adoption.
• Map the finance technology landscape, evaluate opportunities, and select a pilot within the first 30 days.
• Within 60 days, execute the pilot in shadow mode, incorporating integrations, data quality checks, access controls, and approval processes.
• Launch at least one workflow into production and demonstrate measurable impact within 90 days.
• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering.
• More than 2 years of experience in building and deploying AI-powered workflows, agents, or integrations in a production environment.
• Proven experience in conducting an agent-first redesign of a real business workflow, including baseline establishment, workflow redesign, defining human involvement, and result measurement.
• Strong proficiency with APIs, webhooks, data flows, and systems integration.
• Experience in developing with Python and at least one typed programming language.
• Familiarity with SQL, structured data, reporting systems, and data warehousing.
• Knowledge of business systems such as ERPs, finance platforms, databases, reporting tools, or internal operational software.
• Experience in building workflows that include data validation, approvals, exception management, audit capabilities, and clear operational ownership.
• Ability to transform ambiguous processes from non-technical stakeholders into actionable technical solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Availability to work during U.S. business hours in alignment with the client’s time zone.
• Proficiency in English for application and professional communication is required.
• Preferred: experience with SAP Business ByDesign, financial reporting, FP&A, accounting operations, invoice capture, payment processing, Cube, Amazon Redshift, Databricks, Odoo, Opayo, natural-language data interfaces, Zapier or similar platforms, enterprise SaaS, healthcare, finance, AI governance, access controls, and secure handling of business data.
