Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Conduct market analysis and proof-of-concept initiatives to validate proposed designs and identify appropriate technologies and products.

• Assist delivery stream domains and scopes through the evaluation of technology and products.

• Coordinate with ICT Engineering and Operations teams to follow up on the implementation of approved designs.

• Address open issues and guide the implementation process towards successful outcomes.

• Offer design knowledge and expertise as needed.

• Communicate architecture decisions and guidelines to diverse audiences.

• Collaborate within a multicultural, self-managed team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in ICT Solution design, focusing specifically on integration architectures and microservices architectures.

• At least 3 years of experience with cloud-native technologies, including microservices, REST APIs, and message queues.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and implementing solutions based on cloud-native infrastructure, such as Kubernetes.

• Involvement in at least 3 systems integration projects.

• Experience with and participation in the EU Interoperability program.

• Strong understanding of interoperability technologies, including REST APIs, message-oriented middleware, and service-oriented applications.

• Solid knowledge of container and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes, both on-premises and in the cloud.

• Familiarity with Azure/AWS.

• Comprehensive knowledge of solution design best practices.

• Ability to produce self-explanatory documents and diagrams.

• Capability to present architecture decisions and guidelines to varied audiences.

• Good understanding of security and access management best practices for cloud-native solutions.

• Must be a European Citizen.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.

• Kubernetes, Azure/AWS Cloud Architecture, or Agile certification is desirable.
