Solicitor – Vehicle Hire, Damage

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Serve as a principal client-facing representative for Scottish claims.

• Engage in marketing and business development initiatives, which encompass industry events, client training sessions, clinics, and shadowing days.

• Oversee a diverse caseload of litigated issues, including credit hire, damages, fraud, and personal injury claims.

• Strive to meet established performance and personal financial objectives.

• Collaborate with team members on liability, indemnity, and related loss cases, such as personal injury, credit repair, and diminution.

• Enhance technical competencies through ongoing training, learning opportunities, and current legal literature.

• Manage sensitive information in accordance with data security protocols.

• Attend court hearings as necessary and cultivate advocacy skills.

• Contribute to the team's strategic objectives and overall business success.


⛳️ Requirements

• A qualified Solicitor (NQ+).

• Proven experience in managing a varied caseload within the Scottish courts.

• Preference for candidates with Credit Hire / Motor Litigation experience; those with backgrounds in Personal Injury, Insurance Fraud, or Dispute Resolution will also be considered.

• Open to individuals nearing the completion of their Traineeships.

• Highly organized with strong negotiation and communication abilities.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Excellent relationship-building and client management skills.

• Capable of dealing confidently and professionally with clients on everyday concerns.

• Reasonably self-sufficient and aware of the limits of personal competence and authority.

• Proactive and determined in identifying and resolving issues.

• Ability to adopt a business-minded approach.
