This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
β’ Manage a diverse and intricate caseload of claims.
β’ Investigate claims related to data breaches, including those resulting from cyber-attacks and violations of GDPR and Data Protection Acts.
β’ Provide guidance to insurers and corporate clients regarding claims and pertinent preventive matters.
β’ Handle litigated and pre-litigation claims.
β’ Prepare defenses up to trial when required.
β’ Attend conferences, trials, and witness proofing sessions.
β’ Prepare and oversee the disclosure of sensitive documents.
β’ Draft legal documents for court proceedings.
β’ Attend trials and applications alongside legal counsel.
β’ Manage intricate and sensitive case files.
β’ Mentor and develop paralegals within the team.
β’ Contribute to team marketing and business development initiatives.
β’ Take charge of quality control, compliance benchmarking, and accurate management reporting.
β’ Enhance and maintain technical expertise through online courses, training, seminars, and relevant literature.
β’ Handle confidential data in accordance with the firm's data security protocols.
β’ Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.
β’ Relevant experience in managing civil claims.
β’ Prior experience with data breach claims is advantageous but not mandatory.
β’ Willingness to assist in and manage a caseload of civil claims.
β’ Proficient in investigating data breach claims, including those related to GDPR and Data Protection Acts.
β’ Capable of providing timely, commercially aware, and sensitively crafted advice to clients.
β’ Ability to participate in conferences, trials, and witness proofing.
β’ Skilled in preparing and supervising the disclosure of sensitive documentation.
β’ Competent in drafting legal documents for court.
β’ Able to handle complex and sensitive case matters.
β’ Capable of achieving a minimum annual target of 1,440 billable hours.
β’ Proficient in developing paralegals.
β’ Ability to support marketing and business development efforts.
β’ Committed to maintaining technical knowledge through ongoing training and professional growth.
