This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the effective implementation of solar incentive programs and outreach initiatives.
• Establish, nurture, and enhance relationships with solar developers and contractors, including EECs, SEBs, and other market players.
• Provide support to contractors and market partners by offering guidance on program requirements, participation processes, and available resources.
• Facilitate the processing of applications, onboarding of trade allies, training sessions, and engagement activities for trade allies and program participants.
• Recommend the approval of EEC applications after thorough program review and vetting procedures, communicating recommendations to client stakeholders.
• Research, analyze, and report on market data to aid in program planning, outreach strategies, and achieving client objectives.
• Collect, manage, and maintain participant, contractor, program, and market data to support program operations and reporting activities.
• Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, communications, and stakeholder engagement efforts to ensure successful outcomes.
• Monitor program progress and participation targets, providing updates to management and clients.
• Analyze data related to program participation, market trends, and contractor performance to identify opportunities, risks, and areas for enhancement.
• A bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience OR a High School diploma/GED with 7 years of relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in trade ally management, stakeholder engagement, account management, program operations, project coordination, business analysis, energy programs, or a related field.
• Proven experience working directly with contractors, vendors, clients, trade allies, market partners, or program participants.
• Experience in collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve business or program objectives.
• Skilled in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to support decision-making and operational improvements.
• Background in the energy sector, including energy efficiency, renewable energy, distributed energy resources, utility programs, solar programs, or related fields.
• Experience in coordinating outreach initiatives, training activities, events, or engagement programs.
• Ability to work independently with moderate supervision while handling multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, CRM systems, reporting tools, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Capability to cultivate and sustain relationships with contractors, clients, market participants, and internal stakeholders.
• Experience in coordinating projects, managing deliverables, and aiding in program implementation activities.
• Knowledge of program compliance, quality assurance, and reporting standards.
• Willingness to travel locally 10-20% in Illinois, including occasional overnight trips.
• Must be a resident of the Chicago, Illinois area or be willing to relocate.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
