Solar Finance Intern – Summer 2027

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Assist in driving the financial operations of IGS Energy’s expanding solar division.

• Create monthly and quarterly reporting outputs for both internal stakeholders and external debt and equity partners.

• Examine data, generate reports, and provide support for special projects.

• Revise financial models, reporting templates, and PowerPoint presentations.

• Ensure work accuracy, implement corrections, and communicate progress and inquiries proactively.

• Collaborate with the Finance team and other business units to comprehend solar operations and key business drivers.

• Obtain cross-departmental exposure to reporting, financial modeling, and capital markets.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

• Proficient in Excel or keen on enhancing those skills, including financial modeling, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, nested IF statements, and Boolean logic.

• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint.

• Strong focus on detail and a commitment to delivering precise work.

• Demonstrates curiosity, initiative, and a readiness to take ownership of assigned tasks.

• A collaborative approach with a comfort in asking questions, providing updates, and embracing feedback.

• Must have authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis.

• Sponsorship for current or future needs is not supported or available.
