Software Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and deliver engaging classes for clients utilizing proprietary enterprise benefits administration software.

• Take full responsibility for customer-facing training from start to finish and serve as the main contact for training initiatives.

• Proactively learn the product and customer configurations to create and facilitate educational content for both internal teams and external clients.

• Create and sustain exercises, job aids, quick-reference guides, and process documentation.

• Collaborate with leadership, product managers, and subject matter experts to ensure the curriculum remains up-to-date.

• Provide customized training for customers both virtually and on-site, tailored to their configurations and skill levels.

• Oversee training schedules and execution across various customer accounts.

• Collect feedback and performance metrics to assess and enhance content and delivery methods.

• Consult with customers and internal teams regarding training scope and strategies for unique or complex project needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in delivering technology-based training to adult learners and developing curriculum.

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

• Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts, considering the software's complexity and configurability as well as the diverse customer environments.

• Proficient technical writing skills, with a background in creating clear job aids, quick-reference guides, and process documentation for a technical or software audience.

• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, capable of clearly conveying complex software functionalities and engaging individuals at all organizational levels.

• A self-driven, proactive individual with a genuine enthusiasm for continuous learning and enhancing processes and customer experiences, rather than merely documenting them as they are.

• Strong organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple training projects at once.

• Experience utilizing generative AI tools such as Claude and Copilot to boost productivity and achieve high-quality results.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet for the creation of training materials, presentations, and managing training schedules.

• Certification in training or learning and development is preferred.
