Software Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement test cases for web applications, APIs, and associated database components.

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and system-level testing in accordance with Agile software development methodologies.

• Record test outcomes, monitor defects, and confirm resolutions through collaboration with development teams.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies and assist in ongoing process enhancements.

• Confirm integration with Microsoft SQL databases and ensure data accuracy across various systems.

• Aid in test automation efforts where relevant.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with two (2) years of relevant experience; alternatively, six (6) years of experience may substitute for a degree.

• Proficient in testing web applications, APIs, and systems driven by databases.

• Knowledge of Agile software development practices.

• Familiarity with software testing methodologies and defect management processes.

• Experience using test management or defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, TFS, or equivalent.

• Proficient in Microsoft SQL, including the capability to query databases for validation purposes.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Commitment to continual improvement of testing methodologies and technical competencies.

• Active SECRET Security Clearance.
