Software Test Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing for web applications, APIs, and backend systems.

• Create robust and scalable test frameworks.

• Establish test automation architecture, tools, and strategies.

• Facilitate the transition from manual to automated testing processes.

• Integrate continuous testing into CI/CD pipelines.

• Generate actionable quality metrics and automated reporting.

• Collaborate with developers and QA teams on regression coverage, shift-left testing, and DevSecOps methodologies.

• Assess emerging tools, including those for Generative AI-assisted test generation.

• Assist with performance testing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, RestAssured, Cucumber JVM or Behave, JUnit, and TestNG.

• Strong expertise in OpenJDK 11/17/21, including Streams, Collections, and Lambda expressions.

• Familiarity with Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Apache JMeter, and test data management.

• Experience with Oracle databases and complex SQL queries.

• Knowledge of Angular/SCSS, Protocol Buffers, Jackson, and Gson.

• Understanding of JWT/JJWT, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect standards.

• Experience with Generative AI test generation and Amazon Kiro.

• Awareness of QA methodologies, including equivalence partitioning and boundary value analysis.

• Knowledge of grant lifecycle processes, from submission to amendments.

• EQF Level 7 university degree with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in IT, or EQF Level 6 degree with at least 12 years of professional IT experience.

• Degrees in any discipline are acceptable.
