Middle QA Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain automated testing suites for web applications and banking platforms.

• Execute functional, manual, and regression testing activities to ensure product quality.

• Analyze, document, and monitor defects while collaborating closely with development teams to resolve issues.

• Enhance and maintain automation frameworks utilizing Python, pytest, and Playwright.

• Create reusable testing components by applying the Page Object Model and fixture-based methods.

• Validate new features, system upgrades, and production fixes.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at refining quality assurance processes and testing standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee timely and high-quality software releases.

• Work in close partnership with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders throughout the entire testing lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong emphasis on test automation.

• Practical experience using Python for developing test automation.

• Solid understanding of pytest and automated testing frameworks.

• Experience in creating and maintaining automated UI tests with Playwright.

• Proficient in Git and best practices for version control.

• Experience in implementing and managing Page Object Model (POM) frameworks and fixtures.

• Extensive experience in executing regression tests and validating application functionality.

• Experience in defect analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation.

• Familiarity with software testing methodologies, test case design, and QA best practices.

• Experience with functional and manual testing in banking environments.

• Knowledge of banking processes and workflows in financial services.

• Previous experience with Bantotal solutions.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and the integration of automated testing.

• Experience in Agile development environments.
