This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust end-to-end test automation frameworks utilizing Playwright.
• Architect scalable page object models, custom fixtures, and reusable test utilities.
• Leverage AI-driven testing agents to strategize test scenarios, generate test scripts, and self-repair broken selectors and locators.
• Utilize AI-assisted coding and test generation tools to create scripts, review automation code, generate test data, and analyze testing outcomes.
• Produce automation code and formulate test plans, templates, and strategies for both automated and manual testing.
• Develop integration and end-to-end test cases for technical backend and UI narratives.
• Set up, deploy, configure, decommission, and reconfigure testing environments.
• Collaborate with developers to establish acceptance criteria and provide code-level feedback on issues.
• Create tools or prototypes to enhance test automation practices.
• Mentor QA and Development engineers on machine-driven testing methodologies.
• Act as a subject matter expert on test automation tools and techniques.
• Partner with DevOps and IT to configure testing environments.
• Acquire knowledge of new technologies and develop tools, including AI-enhanced testing tools and methodologies.
• Support departmental and organizational objectives as necessary.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in software test automation.
• Proven expertise in Playwright or comparable modern automation frameworks.
• Proficient in using various automation toolsets, browser components, page object structures, source control tools (Git, SVN), CI/CD tools, API scripting tools, and database toolsets.
• Specialized knowledge in browser automation, API testing, visual regression testing, tracing, fixtures, and parallel execution.
• Strong object-oriented design and coding capabilities.
• Proficient in TypeScript/JavaScript, C#, or Python.
• Experience with iterative software delivery from inception through refinement, implementation/automated testing, continuous integration, release, and production monitoring.
• Familiarity with TDD, BDD, and SDD, with the ability to support Spec Driven Test Development.
• Required software experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, C#, or Python; Git or SVN; CI/CD tools; API scripting tools; database toolsets such as SQL Server or MySQL; Playwright; QTest or similar test management tools.
