Software Test and Quality Analyst – Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, plan, and execute comprehensive technical and functional assessments of software quality and testing.

• Guarantee the provision of stable, high-quality products.

• Create test plans, scenarios, and cases, ensuring that activities align with established timelines.

• Develop automation scripts for testing and conduct automated execution using diverse test data (datapools).

• Carry out acceptance, compatibility, regression, functional, and non-functional testing, which includes exploratory, connectivity, security, load, and stress tests.

• Evaluate non-functional performance and security requirements according to OWASP guidelines, identifying risks, vulnerabilities, and potential coding flaws.

• Oversee system cycles (active UAT) within defined environments, tracking daily and monthly operations, batch processes, and interfaces.

• Produce test documentation, encompassing plans, scripts, evidence, test data, and reports on the outcomes of each cycle.

• Utilize test management, monitoring, incident tracking (bug tracking), and automation tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a higher education qualification in any discipline alongside a postgraduate degree in IT.

• Possess at least one of the following certifications: CTFL (Certified Tester Foundation Level), CBTS (Brazilian Software Testing Certification – ALATS), or ATC (Certified Test Analyst – IBQTS).

• Demonstrated experience in software testing and quality processes, encompassing planning, automation, and execution.

• Extensive knowledge of testing methodologies, the defect life cycle, as well as test management and bug-tracking tools.

• Familiarity with application security assessments (adhering to OWASP best practices) and the evaluation of non-functional performance requirements.
