Software Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver engineering expertise for the sustainment of DLA applications.

• Assess system requirements and implement modifications to current applications and components.

• Alter, construct, test, and deploy software improvements and fixes.

• Diagnose intricate system and performance challenges across application, database, and infrastructure layers.

• Assist with security updates, vulnerability resolution, and technology refresh initiatives.

• Create and maintain technical documentation and design records.

⛳️ Requirements

• An active Secret Clearance is required.

• A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in a relevant domain (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems/Technology).

• IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive designation or Tier 3 (T3) investigation must be in place at the time of proposal submission.

• Must be available to commence work on 4 January 2027.

• Willingness to sign a Letter of Commitment is necessary.

• Capability to sit or stand for prolonged periods and perform computer-based tasks using standard office equipment.

• Frequent verbal communication, active listening skills, and visual acuity are essential.

• Compliance with site-specific safety, security, and dress standards is mandatory.
