QA Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain automated testing scripts for web applications utilizing Selenium or other appropriate automation tools.

• Create, enhance, and sustain automation frameworks to boost test coverage, reliability, scalability, and efficiency of execution.

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Test IoT platforms, validating the functionality, performance, reliability, and interoperability of IoT-based applications and connected systems.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to comprehend requirements and establish testing strategies.

• Identify, document, monitor, and troubleshoot software defects in conjunction with development teams.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of automation processes, testing methodologies, and QA practices.

• Execute API testing and verify communication between applications, services, and components of the IoT platform.

• Support testing activities throughout short development cycles while ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

• Operate independently with minimal supervision, proactively identify risks, and take ownership of testing responsibilities.

• Provide extended hours or on-call support as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or QA Automation.

• Strong practical experience in web automation using Selenium or similar automation tools.

• Demonstrated experience in developing, enhancing, and maintaining automation frameworks.

• Extensive experience working with IoT platforms and testing associated applications or systems.

• Solid understanding of functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and defect management.

• Familiarity with API testing and cloud environments is a plus.

• Capability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage tasks with minimal supervision.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Effective time management skills and the ability to work within short development cycles.

• Willingness to provide extended hours or on-call support as needed.
