Software Integration Engineer – Audio Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Contribute to platform software utilizing Linux-based systems, RTOS, DSP integration, and middleware technologies.

• Engage in cross-functional meetings to advocate for software and audio technology interests.

• Monitor progress and assist in driving product delivery, serving as a representative for the software manager when necessary.

• Identify and assist in resolving integration challenges across software components and partner deliverables.

• Contribute to the development of reusable, scalable software components that support future product lines.

• Work collaboratively with systems, QA, and security teams to ensure thorough coverage and compliance.

• Maintain technical documentation, integration matrices, and progress reports.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise in Linux, RTOS, C/C++, and Python development.

• Demonstrated knowledge of product delivery lifecycles, including integration and validation processes.

• Proven experience with audio technologies, such as DSP pipelines, latency-sensitive systems, or room correction algorithms.

• Capability to work across various software frameworks and contribute to integration efforts.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills; adept at representing technical interests in multi-team environments.

• Experience in system integration, OEM/ODM collaboration, or consumer electronics is advantageous.

• Self-motivated, organized, and able to balance development tasks with coordination responsibilities.
