Software Engineering Manager – Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Direct the Cloud strategy by defining the vision, target architecture, priorities, and roadmap for GCP, AWS, and OCI.

• Oversee and nurture the Engineering team responsible for cloud infrastructure.

• Enhance the cloud foundation by setting standards for organizations, accounts, projects, networks, DNS, identity, access, quotas, policies, shared services, and environmental segregation.

• Amplify automation and the adoption of Infrastructure as Code by offering standardized components and self-service capabilities.

• Improve the resilience and both technical and economic efficiency of shared infrastructure.

• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Architecture, Cybersecurity, and Cloud FinOps teams.

• Convert cloud resources into reusable services, standards, and components for the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience leading Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or similar teams in large-scale environments.

• Extensive experience with GCP, covering architecture, governance, operations, and the evolution of production environments.

• Proficient with AWS and in designing multi-cloud or hybrid architectures.

• Experience managing Kubernetes in production, preferably GKE and EKS.

• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure automation, particularly with Terraform, including modules, reusable patterns, and large-scale provisioning.

• Relevant certifications in GCP, AWS, OCI, Kubernetes, Terraform, or FinOps are advantageous.

• Familiarity with Crossplane, GitOps, or other declarative methodologies is a plus.

• Experience with cloud cost efficiency is beneficial.
