Software Engineering Intern, Full-Stack

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Deliver technically complex projects from start to finish in a dynamic, iterative setting.

• Drive business growth while understanding the significance of your contributions on business metrics and user experience.

• Take ownership of features, services, caches, and databases, including their deployment, monitoring, debugging, and testing.

• Write production-grade, thoroughly tested code starting from your first week.

• Conduct experiments for nearly every launch using a data-driven and customer-centric approach.

• Work across frontend and backend components, various services, and multiple codebases.

• Collaborate with full-time developers on essential projects.

• Contribute to Super.com’s offerings in travel, fintech, superapp membership, savings, and earnings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 8 months of experience in web development.

• Familiarity with a modern frontend JavaScript framework, such as React, Vue, or Angular.

• Experience working with web servers.

• Proven ability to take ownership and deliver complete features from start to finish.

• Enthusiasm for working on both frontend and backend components.

• Interest in using React for frontend development and Python for backend coding.

• Candidates must reside anywhere in Canada.

• A minimum of 6-hour overlap with the Eastern Time Zone is required.

• Must be available to work a 40-hour work week.

• Currently enrolled in a college, university, or educational institution.

• The internship should be part of an academic program or completed independently, as applicable.

• Ability to work core hours from 9/10 am to 5/6 pm EST, Monday to Friday, except for pre-approved time off.

• Submission of academic performance information and an unofficial grade report is required during the application process.

• Proficiency in React/frontend JavaScript and Python/web-server backend coding is necessary.
