Frontend Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

• Implement new features and resolve bugs with an emphasis on reliability, performance, and user satisfaction.

• Uphold high-quality code standards through regular coding practices, code evaluations, and automated testing.

• Design and create responsive, high-performance user interfaces and manage application states.

• Ensure smooth user experiences across various platforms.

• Transform AI intelligence into valuable human experiences for QV.AC.

• Play a pivotal role in developing a product that empowers users to perceive, trust, and rely on a local AI assistant.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with React/Preact and contemporary JavaScript/TypeScript in large-scale production applications.

• Strong expertise in state management utilizing Redux, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or comparable technologies.

• Capability to produce modular, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code.

• Proficient in testing and debugging intricate frontend applications.

• A keen interest or background in P2P technologies or distributed systems.

• Comfortable working within a remote, globally distributed team.

• Strong communication abilities.

• Excellent proficiency in English communication.

• Experience in desktop application development using Electron, Tauri, or similar environments (preferred).

• Familiarity with video/audio APIs, WebRTC, media streams, and real-time communication (preferred).

• Proven track record of optimizing UI performance, including rendering and memory management (preferred).

• Experience in building cross-platform applications for macOS, Windows, Linux, or equivalent (preferred).

• Previous contributions to open-source software projects, particularly in P2P or decentralized technology (bonus).
