This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Convert product requirements into detailed specifications, technical plans, and task breakdowns for AI coding agents.

• Utilize AI coding agents like Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Kiro to develop, review, test, and enhance features.

• Take ownership of features throughout the entire process, from backend services and APIs to integrations, from specification to production.

• Establish acceptance criteria and automated tests at the outset.

• Maintain project context files, adhere to coding standards, and create reusable prompts and templates.

• Evaluate both AI-generated and human-written code for accuracy, security, performance, and maintainability.

• Enhance the team’s specification-driven workflow, tools, and CI/CD practices.

• Engage in daily standups and technical discussions with the client team based in the US.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience in building and delivering production applications.

• Practical experience using AI coding agents as an integral part of your daily development workflow, beyond just autocomplete functionalities.

• Hands-on experience with specification-driven development, including the creation of specs, plans, or structured requirements that guide AI-generated implementations.

• Proficient in backend development using Python, TypeScript/Node.js, or Go, as well as REST APIs and SQL databases; or full-stack development experience with React or a similar modern frontend framework.

• Strong testing discipline, encompassing unit, integration, and test-first practices.

• Familiarity with Git-based workflows, code reviews, and CI/CD processes.

• Experience with deployments to AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Exceptional written and verbal English skills, particularly for specifications and documentation.
