Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Take responsibility for user-facing features and the underlying systems throughout the entire production process.

• Link technical choices to customer results and assess their impact.

• Directly deliver specific features tailored for enterprise clients.

• Engage with customers when it adds value to the work.

• Define MVPs, select success metrics, prioritize customer challenges, and ensure weekly deliveries.

• Work collaboratively with product, design, and other departments to align early and facilitate progress.

• Develop and maintain AI agents and workflows enhanced by AI.

• Partake in architectural and design discussions, with the possibility of building live with AI during interviews.

• Complete a one-day trial project and showcase the results to the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience transforming ambiguous requirements into production-ready solutions across UI, API, data, and deployment multiple times.

• Capability to define scope based on customer issues and deliver results within a week.

• Strong product judgment: define an MVP, identify significant metrics, and halt work that isn’t yielding results.

• Daily familiarity with AI coding tools like Claude Code or Codex, taking responsibility for the quality of output.

• Keen focus on product quality and user experience.

• Cross-functional teamwork with product, design, and other departments.

• Located in Europe and within a European time zone.

• A genuine interest in customers' businesses; experience in retail or CPG is not a prerequisite.

• Background in designing and managing distributed systems at scale, with an understanding of security and production reliability.

• Experience developing LLM products or AI agents, preferably in a production environment.

• Familiarity with evaluation design, prompt engineering, safety measures, and cost optimization strategies.

• Competence in designing interfaces for AI-assisted workflows.

• Knowledge of or ability to rapidly learn TypeScript, Next.js, React, Tailwind, Fastify, Kysely, PostgreSQL, Zod, GCP, Datadog, and Anthropic AI primitives.
