Full Stack AI/ML Developer – Digital Products

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with agile, cross-functional teams to conceptualize, create, and oversee digital products from their inception to launch and ongoing adoption.

• Design front-end architectures and develop intuitive, responsive user interfaces.

• Utilize Palantir Foundry for data integration, ontology management, pipeline creation, operational workflows, and deployment of data-driven applications and AI/ML solutions.

• Design and implement backend services utilizing C#, Java, and Python.

• Construct and sustain scalable APIs, microservices, and integration frameworks.

• Incorporate AI/ML models into applications, which includes inference pipelines, intelligent features, and model-driven user experiences.

• Develop and manage data and application pipelines that support AI/ML functionality and model deployment.

• Collaborate on feature engineering, model testing, validation, and operationalization.

• Apply DevOps methodologies across CI/CD, automated testing, cloud deployment, and containerized workloads.

• Influence stakeholders and facilitate decision-making through effective communication, structured artifacts, and product storytelling.

• Engage in Agile workflows, including sprint definition, backlog prioritization, and iterative product releases.

• Keep abreast of emerging cloud platforms, AI/ML frameworks, front-end and backend tools, and contemporary development practices.

• Ensure solutions align with technical specifications and meet customer needs.

• Uphold UI/UX design standards and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory; only U.S. citizens are permitted to access information under this program/contract.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical discipline with 12+ years of relevant work experience; OR an Advanced Degree with 10+ years of applicable work experience.

• Over 10 years of expertise in data engineering, data architecture, analytics, AI/ML, or related technical fields.

• More than 5 years of experience in architecting cloud-native data platforms using Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Extensive experience with Databricks, Lakehouse architectures, and modern ELT/ETL tools.

• Strong grasp of distributed systems, real-time data streaming, data governance, and API/Integration architectures.

• Practical experience with Palantir Foundry, including data pipeline transformations, ontology management, and application deployment.

• Capability to design and implement enterprise-scale data architecture solutions.

• Familiarity with MLflow, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Azure ML, SageMaker, and Vertex.

• Experience with Java and Spring Boot is preferred.

• Previous experience in developing microservices and REST APIs is preferred.

• Proficiency in CI/CD practices and production deployment is preferred.

• Experience with Agile software delivery and SDLC management is preferred.

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration platforms is preferred.

• Understanding of web application security concepts is preferred.

• Experience with Apache Kafka and Kafka Streams is preferred.

• Experience in building or supporting AI/ML features, inference APIs, or application-level ML workflows is preferred.

• Ability to articulate technical concepts to both engineering and non-technical stakeholders is preferred.

• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail are preferred.

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment with autonomy and accountability is preferred.

• Proven track record of driving modernization, cloud migration, or digital transformation initiatives is preferred.
