Software Engineer – Python, Typescript, API integrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain software solutions that facilitate internal and external API integrations utilizing Python and Typescript.

• Adhere to best practices to create maintainable, low-complexity software in line with established programming principles.

• Collaborate with Product and Operations stakeholders to address product development requirements.

• Analyze requirements and convert them into actionable development strategies.

• Decompose projects to support iterative and agile implementation processes.

• Offer production support during business hours as part of a rotating schedule.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer.

• Demonstrated experience in developing RESTful APIs using Python/Typescript or another contemporary programming language.

• Strong understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.

• Proficient in Git and familiar with version control best practices.

• Experience in a startup or rapidly growing company is a plus.

• Knowledge of unit testing and automated acceptance testing frameworks is preferred.

• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React is advantageous.

• Experience in provisioning cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform is a plus.

• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, specifically with Jenkins or similar tools, is desirable.
