Software Engineer, Python, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain comprehensive full stack applications.

• Construct and oversee data-intensive backend systems with a focus on data engineering, data warehousing, and data modeling.

• Create and maintain Python ETL/ELT pipelines for both structured and unstructured data.

• Develop responsive, high-performance React.js interfaces that include data visualizations.

• Work with Big Data technologies and cloud data warehouses like BigQuery and Snowflake.

• Utilize GCP services such as Cloud Run and Cloud Functions to build and deploy scalable microservices.

• Collaborate with AI, Data, Cloud, and Product teams to transform business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automate testing using TDD, and adhere to engineering best practices.

• Experiment with AI/ML and Generative AI use cases while prototyping MVPs and accelerators.

• Investigate emerging technologies and contribute to innovation-driven product development.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–8 years of experience in full stack development, with robust expertise in Python (backend) and React.js (frontend).

• Practical experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and handling large-scale datasets, such as BigQuery or Snowflake.

• Strong grasp of ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, and principles of data architecture.

• Experience with cloud platforms, ideally GCP; AWS/Azure experience is also acceptable.

• Familiarity with Big Data ecosystems and distributed data processing frameworks is advantageous.

• Working knowledge of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and backend system design.

• Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Exposure to or a keen interest in AI/ML and Generative AI technologies, including LLMs and prompt engineering, is highly desirable.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

• A learning mindset, adaptability, and curiosity.
