Software Engineer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Engage in discussions, planning, development, and testing of new features.

• Leverage insights from past roles and experiences to create fintech innovations.

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to establish the user experience.

• Diagnose and resolve bugs, often working directly with users.

• Oversee code reviews via Pull Requests while ensuring unit tests and quality standards are upheld.

• Assist in migrating modules into separate micro-services.

• Contribute to product features that impact tens of thousands of customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience with web applications utilizing modern software engineering practices.

• Proficient in Python and Django frameworks.

• Skilled at debugging complex database performance issues.

• Experience in building efficient and scalable backends while making practical trade-offs.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain intricate technical concepts clearly and concisely.

• Previous experience in an early-stage startup is a significant advantage.

• Background in Fintech or Accounting is a plus.

• Familiarity with ERP/Accounting Systems integrations is desirable.

• Exposure to Purchase Orders is beneficial.

• Experience with AWS DevOps is a plus.

• Possession of product sense is advantageous.
