Software Engineer – Product Quality, Reliability

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Conduct investigations and resolve issues across the frontend, backend, and database.

• Reproduce unanticipated application behaviors and determine their technical origins.

• Apply fixes and enhancements utilizing TypeScript and React.

• Examine application data and SQL queries to comprehend unexpected outcomes and troubleshoot concerns.

• Utilize logs, monitoring tools, and error-tracking systems to identify production issues.

• Enhance application usability by refining forms, filters, sorting, error handling, and other user-facing features.

• Recognize recurring technical challenges and devise solutions to prevent their recurrence.

• Contribute to code quality, application stability, dependency upgrades, and security enhancements.

• Collaborate with product and engineering colleagues to prioritize issues and provide dependable solutions.

• Clearly communicate technical findings and document investigations and resolutions for remote teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in developing and maintaining production web applications.

• Strong expertise in TypeScript and React.

• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.

• Experience in debugging application problems and addressing unanticipated behaviors in production or development settings.

• Capable of investigating issues using logs, error reports, user feedback, and incomplete technical details.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Proficient in understanding existing codebases and making focused improvements without causing regressions.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Comfortable with asynchronous collaboration within a distributed engineering team.

• Industry experience is not mandatory.
