AI Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop and deliver AI-enhanced web products utilizing AI coding agents alongside contemporary development methodologies.

• Create scalable full-stack applications leveraging TypeScript and PostgreSQL.

• Design user-friendly and accessible interfaces while ensuring design systems remain consistent.

• Integrate AI functionalities, encompassing tool-utilizing agents, structured outputs, evaluations, and prompt-injection protections.

• Oversee CI/CD processes, infrastructure, monitoring, security, and reliability in production environments.

• Work collaboratively on product specifications, release iterations frequently, and enhance products based on user insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in developing and delivering production-grade web applications from start to finish.

• Extensive knowledge of AI coding agents, including executable specifications, parallel agent workflows, isolated environments, automated testing, code reviews, and cost management strategies.

• Proficient full-stack engineering capabilities in TypeScript and PostgreSQL, covering data modeling, migrations, multi-tenant architectures, authentication, APIs, and background processing.

• Strong UX/UI design expertise, focusing on design systems, accessibility, and user testing methodologies.

• Proven experience in delivering LLM-enhanced features in production settings.

• Familiarity with AI evaluations, prompt-injection vulnerabilities, and secure AI application practices.

• Experience with infrastructure as code, CI/CD, monitoring solutions, backups, and security best practices.

• A portfolio showcasing the products and interfaces you have designed and developed.

• Nice to have: Proficiency in Python.

• Nice to have: Experience with serverless and edge computing platforms.

• Nice to have: Skills in browser automation and end-to-end testing.

• Nice to have: Experience in modernizing legacy software.
