This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and manage automation and access tools that enhance developer workflows while ensuring the security of multi-cloud environments.
• Collaborate with security and technical leadership to transform clearly defined tasks into functional code.
• Engage in code reviews and adhere to established patterns, testing standards, and policy-as-code frameworks.
• Support multi-cloud access infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP accounts utilizing Terraform.
• Uphold least-privilege IAM policies, identity federation, role provisioning, and automated lifecycle workflows across numerous cloud accounts.
• Ensure observability coverage, including metrics, alerts, and basic distributed tracing, across core data pipelines.
• Advocate for secure architectural practices and IAM best practices.
• Identify access drift, technical debt, security vulnerabilities, and platform concerns.
• Participate in sprint planning, seek mentorship, and share knowledge with colleagues.
• 1–2+ years of experience in professional software engineering or DevOps/Platform engineering.
• Hands-on experience with multi-cloud environments, Identity & Access Management (IAM), or platform automation.
• Practical experience with, or a strong desire to learn, AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Harness, or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• General understanding of multi-account/multi-project cloud architecture.
• Working knowledge of at least one of Shell, Terraform, YAML, or Go (Golang).
• Comprehension of authentication, authorization, least-privilege principles, and secrets management.
• Willingness to enhance skills in Shell, Terraform, YAML, and Go.
• This role is not eligible for employment in California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, or Washington.
