Software Engineer – Network Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain services and tools that automate the network lifecycle, including day-0 provisioning, day-N modifications, drift detection, and operational verification.

• Ensure network modifications are secure and transparent through CI/CD workflows, diff/review tools, staged rollouts/rollbacks, audit trails, and guardrails.

• Create scalable observability systems across multiple sites, focusing on telemetry pipelines, signal quality, and tools that expedite incident investigations.

• Bridge the “last mile” gaps between the network and the platform by integrating source-of-truth data, exposing APIs, and developing dependable automation around it.

• Work closely with network engineers and SREs to transform real operational challenges into high-quality tooling.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience (or equivalent practical background).

• Strong coding abilities and a sense of ownership: you can deliver and manage reliable services.

• Proficiency in Go or willingness to transition; Python experience is also appreciated (additional languages may be beneficial for OSS debugging/fixes).

• While you don’t need to be a network expert, we anticipate you will have a keen interest in infrastructure and/or networking.
