Software Engineer, Metronome Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop the next generation of Stripe products to meet the evolving demands of the company and its customers.

• Provide value through a collaborative, user-centric approach involving stakeholders and customers.

• Guide and mentor engineers, fostering their professional growth.

• Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues across various services and multiple layers of the stack.

• Design, construct, test, and deploy code on a daily basis.

• Work alongside infrastructure, security, design, and operations professionals to create essential internal and external features.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in backend software development.

• Proficiency in writing high-quality code in programming languages like Go, Java, C/C++, etc.

• Practical experience in contributing to or developing large-scale distributed systems.

• Excellent collaboration abilities and capacity to work across various team initiatives.

• Capability to excel with a significant degree of autonomy and accountability.
