Software Engineer, Java, webMethods

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Morocco.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications along with webMethods integration flows.

• Engage in business requirements analysis and create robust, scalable integration solutions.

• Develop and manage integration services utilizing webMethods Integration Server.

• Design, develop, and consume REST and SOAP APIs.

• Ensure seamless integration between various applications and information systems.

• Contribute to the establishment and enhancement of service-oriented (SOA) and microservices architectures.

• Maintain code quality and adhere to sound development practices through best practices and code reviews.

• Implement unit tests and integration tests while aiding in their automation.

• Provide technical support and address production incidents.

• Collaborate with project teams (including Architects, DevOps, QA, and Product Owners) in an Agile/Scrum environment.

• Contribute to technical documentation and ongoing improvement initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science or a related field.

• At least 7 years of experience in Java development and integration.

• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8/11/17) and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, REST, JPA).

• Extensive experience with the Software AG webMethods platform: Integration Server (IS), Designer, webMethods API Gateway, Universal Messaging (UM); experience with Trading Networks is a plus.

• Skilled in integration technologies: REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, XSD.

• Good understanding of SOA and Microservices architectures.

• Experience with relational databases (such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).

• Proficient in Git, Maven, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage.

• Strong communication skills, with a sense of autonomy and teamwork.
