Software Engineer, Java, Quarkus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Morocco.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain robust backend applications utilizing Java and Quarkus.

• Engage in analyzing business needs and converting them into technical specifications.

• Create and enhance high-performance microservices and REST APIs.

• Ensure seamless application integration with various information systems.

• Optimize code for performance, quality, and maintainability.

• Conduct unit and integration testing to guarantee code coverage.

• Identify, analyze, and rectify defects.

• Assist in application deployments and provide production support.

• Collaborate with business, architecture, infrastructure, and DevOps teams.

• Contribute to technical documentation and development best practices.

• Engage in the continuous enhancement of processes and applications.

• Work on the development and improvement of business applications for enterprise clients in intricate technical environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Java development.

• Strong command of Java 11/17+ and the Quarkus framework.

• Solid understanding of microservices architectures and REST APIs.

• Experience with JPA/Hibernate and Maven.

• Familiarity with Spring Boot is an advantage.

• Proficient in SQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).

• Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.

• Proficiency in Git.

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD is a plus.

• Strong analytical skills, independence, attention to detail, and a teamwork-oriented mindset.

• Excellent communication skills in French.
