Software Engineer Intern – Basketball Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.

📋 Description

• Oversee, implement, and sustain data systems and applications related to team and player performance, medical and physical metrics, player assessment, and strategic planning.

• Collaborate with a team of engineers to create applications that facilitate real-time, data-driven decision-making.

• Partner with colleagues, external vendors, and both internal and external data sources to build tools and analyze data that support basketball analytics, player assessment, and physical research.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in computer science or a related field.

• Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilities.

• Some familiarity with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and SQL.

• Some background in front-end or back-end software engineering, data engineering, database administration, or cloud services.

• Experience in handling and safeguarding confidential information.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the capability to convey clear and effective messages to diverse stakeholders.

• Flexibility to work on short notice, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Work hours not exceeding 29 hours per week.
